	 I wasn't sure if I wanted to disrupt the clean look and lines of the bow. I closed my eyes, as I plunged the drill bit into gelcoat.

After seeing how it looked up at the lake, I feel pretty good about my decision. This boat also came with no gauges, so I added a period Aquameter speedometer and tach that I also salvaged. They look new and only cost me $15 for the pair, plus one spare speedo. (three gauges-$15)
