TOPIC: 1958 rocket

has any body here ever split a 1958 shell lake rocket. the top from the bottom, i'am looking at one and it needs a transom. was wondering if it is a tuff job? i started to split a 1968 glaspar, and the rub rail had a configuration that made it impossable to figure out.(for my mind anyways). any help would be great as i'am going to look at it and possable make an offer this week end. thanks frog
