i have a 1964 dorsett daytona 15'to16' with a 65 merc any one no or no how to find the hull tag or what the max hp allowed is?

Things to keep in mind. Hulls age and weaken over time. Older motors were far heavier per HP than new ones. So on the one hand, the hull is weaker. On the other hand, in some cases, a 2 cylinder will deliver the same horse power a 4 cylinder did 50 years ago.

What I'm saying is there are a lot of variables, and that in addition to the original max HP rating when new, common sense would be a good tool to use as well.

There is a chart in the 1967 brochure that shows the
Daytona as rated up to 110hp. You can find it in the
Glassic Library on this site.
