TOPIC: speedo

am I going to get wrong readings if I splice my speedo vacume tube,causing some restriction ? Is there a minimum or maximum size tubing that can be used to replumb a speedo ?

test it....it works on compressed air principal, the water enters the pitot then it runs up the tube till it begins to compress the air in the line which gives you your readings

if you blow as hard as you can watch the needle and remember your blow speed reading...now replace your line with a section of the different dia and blow again to see if you see a difference ...I doubt it.
