A few years ago I bought a 17' ski boat. It looks like it was built to look like an old wooden boat, with two seperate cockpits. it has a stright inboard engine "Indmar" it's acturally a 350 c.i. Chevy. The person I bought it from said he heard that they only made a few of these boats and went out of business. I have hull #2. it came with a tennessee boat trailer.
I would love to find out more about this beatiful boat but so far nothing... It was built in 1990 and I would guess somewhere East of the Mississippi River. I bought it from an man in KY. and I live in Solomons Maryland. Thanks to E bay.

Welcome aboard.

If she was built after 1973, there whould be a 12 digit hull ID stamped into the outside of the transom on the starboard side. You can go to the US Coast Guard website "Manufacturer's Identification Code" area and find out more. It will give you the name of the manufacturer and their location.

Have you done a "google news archive" search?
