TOPIC: Owens Landau

Newbie Here. Great forum! Lots of neat classics here.
I have access to an almost free '59-60 Owens Landau out of the boneyard. Owner will basically give it to me to see it saved and restored. It's 80% there, sans motor, needing some hardware and a windshield,seats. I was only able to find one pic on the net and very little other info. Can someone here tell me anything about this boat and if it would be a good resto project. I live close to the clayton boat museum, would they be any help to me? TIA, John

John: WELCOME. Not sure of that model ., or the length , Good brand name which should always be collectible.
Have been to the Clayton museum many times & yes 10 years ago welcome FiberGlass boats in their show. ...... One of our most active members CHINEWALKER lives right there in Fisher Landing, just west of Chaulks marina.. I am sure he will get you On Board..

Again welcome., Our library here only has the spec page & lists that model as 17 ft , weight 800 pounds.
