Restoring what I thought was 80's Bayliner tri hull now I'm not so sure.Only date is 1980 on the fuel tank.Powered by a Mercruiser 165

A-Dated "fuel" tank can have no direct connection to the year of the vessel production.

If she's built after November 1972 there should be a 12 digit hull ID/VIN stamped into the transom on the starboard side on the outside of the boat. The first three letters are a code for the manufacturer.
