TOPIC: Need help identifying my boat

Need help identifying my boat 15 years 2 weeks ago #28727

Greetings everyone! I am new to your forum and already need some assistance. My husband purchased this PWC from a gentleman who informed us that it is a 1955 aquascooter. Unfortunately I can't find any information out there about this thing which leaves me to believe that we were misinformed. So I am turning to the experts... the knowledgeable "GURU's" on this site. Can you please help us identify our new family "hobby" boat. It came with a west bend engine and says Sea-sprite in certain parts if the boat.

I have more photos on picassa... just click the link. picasaweb.google.com/stafford.stacie/1955AquascooterSeaSprite?feat=directlink

Also I would like to note some specifics:
It is 8ft., single seater, has a west bend 820, 2 stroke go kart engine. And I did mention that this is obviously an inboard. :)
