I know there have been posts for it on this sight. I think I have seen a fat fifty cowl retro'd for a yamaha or honda before. I thought there was a shop doing this for people with vintage boats that have newer more efficient motors.

Jim; You saw that on the G3 forum. The motor you are referring to belongs to Vernon Turner of the Florida Glasspar Club and was in pictures from the International G3 rally and mounted on a Seafair Sunliner. It is a fat 50 mated to a Yamaha 115hp. Another club member also has a vintage v4 cowl mated to a later model OMC v4. Both modifications were done by the same individual but I do not think he is doing them as a business. Brian
