I just went ahead and updated the Yellow Jacket page in the Library section. There you will find also find a link to an owner's website with much more information:

Most likely your Johnson outboard is a 35 or 40 HP motor. If you post a photo of either the boat or motor and any ID plates they may have, we might be able to help more.
