TOPIC: 1958 trailer, worth restoring?

1958 trailer, worth restoring? 3 weeks 8 hours ago #149562

Came across a 1958 (?) Tee Nee trailer that has the wheel housings with a sort of fin on top and a tail-light in the rear part of the housing, looks kind of aerodynamic. Worth picking up/restoring and putting a vintage MFG Cambridge boat on it?

It is common for members of this site to restore a boat and pair it with a restored trailer of the same era.

Just understand a classic trailer may not be up to 85mph trips down the freeway like some modern trailers are designed to perform.

This is my 1971 boat with its restored originally paired 1971 Holsclaw trailer.

Agreed! Easy does it with the old stuff! The trailer comes with a similar year boat and motor on it (1958), though I never heard of the boat brand. Might be best to keep it all together, perhaps. The MFG has a newer Load Rite that is fine.
If I get this trailer & rig will post pics for more info on it. N

That's a nice looking '71 boat there, she has great lines. Looks a bit like the Lone Star Cruiseliner III we had years ago. Roger in Colorado (seems like not much vintage boat activity here, no aomci chapter anywhere near by.)
