Hey yall - recently bought on old fiberglass trihull for some small lakes/river fishing. Needed to replace our large canoe to allow for solo adventures. Anyways, the boat manufacturer is a mystery and am looking to some experts for help identifying. I recently pulled off some metal plate repairs on the transom and found a PARTIAL manufacturer name, so i hope this isn't hard. I've dug and dug on the internet with no luck even finding another boat picture like this, let alone a manufacturer name. I also tried to decipher the missing letters in the name, but fell short. Really I think the only identifiable letters are the lowercase L and maybe the last letter is an S?
Thanks for any help.
What i have:
Manufacturer: _______ Plastics Corp.
Year: Assumed 60s, trying to pin down a better year.
Model: Ranger 11
HIN: 4 digit (pre 1972)
Length :10'-10"
Construction: Fiberglass trihull, aluminum gunwale
Location: Wisconsin, so assumed a builder in WI or midwest. Boat seems to have been here all its life.
Side note: i am totally refurbishing the boat, its got fully rotted wood in the keel and transom, so excited to learn what it is.
