TOPIC: Ray Wright Delta - Nautalloy CR556 cleat wanted

Hi, thank you for allowing me to join this forum. I'm currently restoring a 1960s Ray Wright Delta. The early boats like mine have a riveted aluminium hull with later manufactured boats switching to glass fibre construction. The boat was designed and built in the UK at Oulton Broads in the county of Suffolk so I've attach a picture of a finished boat since a number of people on this forum might not be familiar with the name. I bought the boat in pieces and unfortunately the bow cleat is missing, which is what brought me to this forum. The cleat I'm looking for is a Nautalloy CR556 6inch cleat. I've tried a number of avenues in the UK but with no luck so far. Since Nautalloy were based is the USA I'm hoping someone on this forum may be able to help with a part or information leading to buying a part. Any condition would ok and all postal costs to the UK would be covered. I appreciate any help.

Hi Chuck, thanks for the reply. I have seen the worthpoint website before but I think it is aimed at helping people establish a value based on items previously sold. I never been able to find where the item was sold or where it is going to be sold.

You may have checked it out but there seems to be a Ray Wright Delta Facebook group. They had some boats for list and another member mentioned they had some custom stainless parts fabricated; I wonder if someone would sell you just the cleat off the boat? Most people seem to be from the UK. If you're really keen you may be able to sandcast a new one but that's quite an undertaking..
It seems worthpoint is just a estimate site, I wish they showed were the information was taken from.. not just a paywall but alas

I wrote in a generic term on E-bay (antique boat cleat) I found this on the 3rd or 4th page. I know they are not your size, but I bet a lot of sellers just use generic names without make or part numbers. So instead of being super specific with make, model, & part number ?
You may have to search a little more generic ? like: Antique boat cleat, vintage boat cleat, bow cleat etc...
