TOPIC: Trying to identify what I think is an old glasspar

Trying to identify what I think is an old glasspar 1 month 5 days ago #149190

I'm buying this from a buddy for $200 (the full package) and all we know is it's a 16 footer, and from what I can find looking around the hull mold looks to me, like a glasspar.

Only thing for sure it it has a very well running merc 135 on it and it has a wrecked out bimini top.

Any and all help is appreciated!

Hello korelabs and welcome to FiberGlassics!

Lots of Glasspar information is available here in the library.
More pictures of the boat would help in identifying make and model.
If a Glasspar maybe an Avalon like Chuck suggested but could be a Citation?

The trailer is incredible and that little boat attached to a 135 hp Merc is crazed in MHO.

Thanks
Terry

Thanks, I'm a car guy so to say this is not the 60's merc I wanted to restore is an understatement.
That said, OH MAN am I stoked!

I have gone ahead and attached all the images I have.

Looked at the later Glasspars and I don't see any decks that match.

Your hull looks similar to the 65 Flying V-17 model.

Thanks,
Terry

Oh that is SO close, OK. thanks for that, and I now have a little more direction to lean in for ID'ing it. I'll have it inside a week, so maybe I can dig deeper and find a hidden plate.
