TOPIC: Help Me Identify this Boat

Trying to identify the rocket ship looking boat I just picked up. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Th eowner told me that he thought it was a sears boat from the 50's. Doesnt look lik ethe type of boat Sears would sell. I did find a metal tag on the inside of the transom that seems to indicate 1958? Thanks in Advance for any help.

Also, mayb ethere is a trick I am not aware of. Photos won't attach. It says max size is 2 MB or 1MB. I resized them below 1 MB and I still get the warning
