TOPIC: A Dark Day in our area,...

A Dark Day in our area,... 1 year 7 months ago #147121

The one qualified fiberglass repair expert in my area has passed away.
He had become a good friend, reckless in his efforts to protect his health, surviving (8) heart attacks, and other continuing ailments related to his years of working with fiberglass, finally overcame him.
His work was impeccable, of the highest quality, and attention to detail.
He had a very colorful life that included things far beyond fiberglass repair. He spent years in Florida working over to high speed off-shore monster boats, before "escaping" to the quieter pace of rural PNW.
We became good friends in just a few years.
R.I.P. JD Russell,...I'm going to miss you pal,

Sorry for your loss of a dear friend.
We are all just passing through, some leave their mark in a way that will always be remembered. To look at examples of his work and results will always bring back fond memories.
