Well as you may know I am to new to being around any kind of boats to know the answer, but that thing has an overall cool/odd look to it. The lines remind me of an old Ford Falcon. Is that an open bow catamaran of some kind?

That is very cool. Looks like it may have sponsons on the front half of the boat which would technically make it a hydro.

I agree it looks like a 3-point Hydroplane hull. I had never seen an open bow on a hydro before. The side grooves and over style make it look very old… early 60s or maybe even later 50s as glass was coming into the industry. I am thinking it is a pretty rare find and would snatch it up if you like it. Outboards were less than 100 hp before 62 if memory serves me. I am sorry I don’t know the brand or model. Pretty cool looking. A 75hp Johnrude would look nice on it.
