TOPIC: Thompson Boat Rally 2019 UPDATE

The Thompson Antique & Classic Boat rally takes place Saturday 29 June 2019 at Nestegg Marine in Marinette, Wisconsin. The Rally is open to any and all watercraft not matter the make/brand, model, propulsion, and hull materials. It is not limited to Thompson boat and all her various spin-offs. It is open to all. There is a small registration fee to display a watercraft. Would live folk to bring their marine "stuff" for sale or swap. There is NO judging and there are NO awards.

On Friday 28 June 2019 we will have a tour of a helicopter factory in the early afternoon. RESERVATIONS are required. There will be a picnic Saturday evening the 29th and again, RESERVATION are necessary. On Sunday the 30th mid morning a tour of Sentinel Structures, Inc in Peshtigo will be offered - the company that makes glued laminated timber arches and beams including timbers for ship construction (it is located across the alley from what remains of the old Thompson Boat factory)

Ya Bill, I know what you mean. When I click on his link it automatically wants me to create an MSN account which I do not want.
To get around that just highlight his address, cut and paste it into your mail "send" line.

Stop me if you've heard this before "the check is in the mail"

I solved the problem by sending a message through this site. It went to his MSN account with no problem and I got the info I needed. Thanks Andreas. I will get it back to you soon. As in other years, I plan on having the Thompson in the water.

Andreas, has anyone mentioned bring items to swap/sell other than me. What time to set up?

No, i have not had a peep out of anyone about bringing swap - sell items. But that's typical. No one has ever said anything in past events but there always are some folk that bring things.

We are planning a day road trip to check out the show, boats, and hopefully meet some new members and boat owners. I am still learning much and need to keep asking questions. So far, the weather looks good after a predicted wet week. Hoping for a great turnout!
