TOPIC: i swore I would never do this again..........

last year I got a 62 Craig spitfire. Pretty hacked up. No badging etc....but because they were built in the city I live in I found an opportunity to leave my senses. This yer snooping around on this website I found another right u the road about 35 minutes. Of course lacking any sense I went to look at it. Good bones, nearly all her badging I made an offer and got it. The motor is up for grabs as parts (head is stuck) but the boat will be restored. I will have to make 1 out of 2......

Yes, but now that I think about it, probably too long to ship. I need a windshield as well but again, shipping cost may be crazy.

My windshield is toast. This one didn't have one. I took this one off of the other it is just sitting in place for visual effect

took her out for a morning pressure wash. I sprayed and let it soak all night with bleach. Too bad my windshield is so crazed with cracking. I would hate to throw away the ski pylon assembly. If anyone wants it to restore (re chrome??) it is theirs. Reach out. would hate to toss this in the scrap yard but f no takers that is where it will go.
