I'm restoring a 1979 Rinker 17VOB and have found that the stringer and frame glass forms are hollow. I was told that was normal for some boat builders back then. Have any of you ever heard that, as well?

Hollow stringers I believe are fine because its not whats inside the stringer that makes it strong it is the shape of the fiberglass stringer it self that gives it strength. Lol im only repeating what I think i read in an article Jamil (godelescher) wrote 6 weeks ago or so. Mike

EDIT::: See what I mean. Jamil, your quick, lol
