TOPIC: Early 1960's steering/tilt systems

Hi all,

Is anyone out there familiar with a Morse M1 steering system specifically designed for 1960's Volvo Penta outdrives? I have a 1962 Hydrodyne that has this system which consists of a single hydraulic line running from a manual hand pump to the cylinder on the steering tube of the outdrive. Can't figure out how it is supposed to work. Thanks for any help you can give.
