TOPIC: G-3 DONE! Only 4 1/2 years...

If you've been around here for a while, you might remember WAY back when I started this one-

It was almost 4 1/2 years ago.... In the mean time, I had a kid, moved, went back to school to get another degree, changed not only jobs but career fields entirely, and had open heart surgery. But, It's FINALLY done! Luckily the owner is patient!







She's not perfect, but I am pretty happy with it.

We are heading down to Mt. Dora this weekend, to visit the show and to deliver it to the owner. I'm sure he'll be glad to have her back!

Nice to hear that you are BOTH back in business! You are an inspiration and great example for persistence and perseverance over adversity.

4 1/2 years and you still beat me!! Maybe a separate thread for restos that take longer than 4 years! LOL. I am so glad not to be the only one.It must feel really good to see that spot open. Glad you posted.

It took 5 years of ownership before I could even start (trying to put the right priorities first...and now it has come to the top of the list). Took a lot of notes and learned a lot from those here (with their stories and pictures) and then finally started buying materials and started "destruction". Life has its own ways of telling us when we can and can't do what we want when we want...but the fighting through all of that is what makes all of these boats even more amazing...as each has its own incredible story behind man/woman and machine.
