TOPIC: clear coat/ gel coat?

have you ever saw a Glastron GX150?
went and looked at one today curiousity got the best of me....

anyway those out there that have redone boats...this ones top was rough..I mean i felt like a i was running my hand across sand paper...there were some cracks here and there and one lid missing...
can one re-gel coat to a smooth finish? only other thing was it was the metal flake brown?

guess what i want to to know is for future refrence haw much work would be involved...

You can then go up to the "search" box in the upper, right hand corner and find several others that relate directly to your question. Much time and effort went into those posts by very knowledgeable craftsmen, well worth your time to read.

The short answer to your question is yes, it can be done but is a lot of work!
