TOPIC: Boat insurance

Looking for different insurance carrier this season. Was with Hagerty and trying to lower the premiums somewhat. Just looking for liability etc. Don't need to cover boat damage or loss. Any suggestions? Got a quote from Progressive for $100. ($300,000.00)one year. Have my RV insurance with them.

don't remember name, but GEICO ha an associated insurer hat does it. pretty reasonable for here (NY), and had on incident a few years ago that they paid right up on.

I have my car and boat through Hagerty, but Hagerty writes the boat insurance through Markel Insurance. $100 a year for my Tomahawk including insuring the boat for $1500.

Dave, called Markel and got a policy over the phone, just a few minutes, had to take a breather to look for the motor model/serial#
