TOPIC: Question from new member

Hello everyone,

I'm new to the group and have a question. I recently purchased a fiberglass boat from an elderly gentleman in town. He didn't have any details about the boat. He told me it's a 1969 Mitchell. I really want to restore the boat but haven't had much luck locating information online. Can someone help me locate information specific to this boat.

Welcome aboard. Friends of my folks had a Mitchell back in the day nice boat quite collectable I should think. Try going to the Glassic Library as under the fiberglass boats heading if you toggle down you will come to Mitchell both fiberglass and aluminum. Good luck. By the way are you on the left coast?

Do you have any photos available? There was a Mitchell Boat Company in Costa Mesa, California that built fiberglass boats and an aluminum boat builder in Indiana that also sold "Mitchell" Boats.

Costa Mesa, CA was a hot bed of fiberglass boat manufacturing. I do not know anything about Mitchell, however.
