TOPIC: newbie and first post

hey all first off just wanna say thanks for having me and what a great site. I've been into canoes for years and have always thought about getting a bigger boat but last week I took the plunge and bought a fixer upper. i mainly got it so the grandson and I can enjoy some fishing.my question is can anyone identify the model or year of it.it has an id tag with serial no. and model no. but I have searched online to find not much info.all I know is Chrysler and not much more. any Info would be great thanks.

Very cool, love the lines. Others may have a better guess, but it looks like a Ski Nautique, which is made by Correct Craft. Have fun with it!

The chevron on the nose could be a Chrysler tell tale. The lines do look like a correct craft but they didn't make too many outboards...especially with Chrysler motors. I have a Chrysler bow light at home, I can measure it if you'd like Chrysler_Rider to see if it matches the dimensions on the nose.
