TOPIC: Lost my Partner

Well four days ago I lost my Babe. My fishing partner these last 10 years. She was not sick and seemed completely healthy. She died in her sleep, very peacefully.
 Everywhere I look I see her signs. I went to get in my truck only to see her muddy footprints on the seat. I have not been out in the boat without her since she was a Pup.

Sorry for your loss but look at it this way. She had a great life most dogs would envy and didn't suffer at the end. That's about as good as it gets.
Easy for me to say though. I'm a dog lover also with 2. |

so sorry rob..its very hard to lose a good dog. i had mine for 15yrs. could never bring myself around to buying another. ron

Robert sooooo very sorry to hear this, hang in there buddy! I know it's tuff, never easy to loose a friend like this, been there done that. At least she went in her sleep and didn't suffer. Again so sorry for your loss.

My heart breaks for you. I lost my partner three years ago and couldn't touch my boat for 6 months. What helps is knowing what a life she had. Boat dogs live a life worthy of being mans best friend. God bless.
