I'm installing mine, and the latch is even with the contact, instead of above it (see attached). Maybe it needs to be shimmed? Hi MarkS, thanks for the welcome aboard and your reply. The gap might be the issue; this windshield was originally on top of a fiberglass "visor" on top of the cabin. It might've had a different contour, which is why there's a gap. Should've introduced myself- I've been a member a while, and have learned a great deal here. I'm nearing the end of a Dorsett Catalina restoration, and will post some pictures when it's presentable...
