Oh No!!!! Boat gauges HAVE to be White!!! It's the LAW!!!! If you put Black Guages in a Boat...especially an Old Classic Boat, Well the Boat Gods will Send Water Demons to attack your boat when you're sleeping and when you awake your boat will have permanent water marks on the hull!!!! (At least that's what the salesman at West Marine Told MEEEE!!!!)

Funny Flamingo! Salesman must of had a quote on white gauges to fill.

I thought it was just looks, but thought i'd ask. Don't even want to get into what came up on my google searches of "white vs black gauges" screwed up world! You'd think this is a question that came up before.

My '68 has black gauges, and the tach is one for a merc ss. But looking at pics i think the white will look better with the yellow paint. The boss thinks white looks better too.
