TOPIC: 2015 Midwest All-Classics Boat Show

Hello All,

The 19th Annual Midwest All-Classics Boat Show will be held Saturday August 15th on the scenic Rock River in Beloit Wisconsin. Once again the Star Zenith Boat Club has invited the Midwest Chapter of The Florida Glasspar Club and Boats in the Belfry to show our classic boats at their historic club.

An option is to launch Friday and enjoy the river before the meet and greet at the Rock Restaurant later in the afternoon and early evening. Docks are available at the restaurant and overnight mooring will be provided at the club.

On Sunday KevFin is again inviting all to tour ‘The Boat Cave’ and see some really bizarre boats nearby in Rockton Illinois.

Mark your FiberGlassics calendars now and be sure to come out to see the old boats and enjoy some time on the Rock. Hoping to see familiar faces and boats and also looking forward to meeting new friends.

The FG calender is marked and I'm planning to make the five hr trip on Friday this year. We missed out on the Rock Restaurant and the night boating fun last year.

No rooms left at Roadway Inn, making other plans.

Show is TOMORROW!!! Anyone that is thinking about coming, stop stalling and just come on by, this is a great event to get your feet wet if you have never been to a show before. If you aren't coming because you don't think your boat is show worthy, bring it! none of the boats are perfect you will fit right in.

Have lots of pictures but must apologize for not posting. I did get a few good shots of your cool Shell Lake and it was a blast being at the wheel.




Yeah we sure got wet up there but then it cleared and we got to run the rock again.

Oh Mama Mia! she’s gonna have water spots all over her new coat.

But she blow dried real nice.

Thanks for posting the pics. I'll have to ask for some help to submit pics of the Shell Lake Tempest for next years calendar. I just don't get this computer stuff yet but Bob is good at it so maybe he can help me.

Will you be posting video of this show?

Wish I had my camera that day, I can still see the smile on your face when you were driving my boat. It was a very fun event!!

Work on the Hydrocon has been very slow, it's outside and I must admit to lots of Muskie fishing, boating, mowing grass, you know all the fun stuff on nice days and rain on days when I planed boat work.

Oh yeah, if it were a Hydrodyne, then there would be no mystery.

And no video this year. Glen only shot stills and of course VideoBob was not present and that is our loss.

The pictures I posted of the Shell Lake above are the best we got. I can send the hi res action pics of both the Hydrocon and the Shell Lake to Ken if you like.

A couple more nice boats that we got to see at Beloit in August.
Very sharp 67 GW Invader with 58 Merc.
KevFin brought Christine and his Glass Slipper which is a work in progress. This boat was popped from the original factory molds.
