I did buy the one from Michigan. I was 10 miles from my cottage! It is in pretty good shape. I will begin work on it in the spring. As to my keeping it... It depends on how well it rides. I finished a Shell Lake Rocket and it road the waves with a terrible banging. I think the Thunderbird may be a bit smoother. I agree with you, the cuddy and the boat size will be easy to tow,store, and dock. Russell
