TOPIC: An FG glassic in Power and Motoryacht magazine....

My girlfriend calls me after work tonight, says she picked up a Power and Motoryacht Oct 14 mag on lunch break and while leafing through it there's our Dolphin 16 Salty on page 108.
Quite the coincidence....

She's in expensive company in the PMY magazine article, smallest boat in the article of course.
Anyway, thought it was kinda cool.
I just installed new abrasion resistant acrylic windows in her last month.

I was surprised they didn't have one of KevFin or Billscars fancy fin boats in that article too!
I called the guy I got Dolphin from to give him the news, he moved up from the 16 Dolphin to a 36' Tollycraft. He owned the boat from about 1984 to 2007 when I bought her. He is going to the magazine store today to get a copy of the magazine. In his big yacht there is a big framed picture of the Dolphin since that is the boat he raised his daughters with, lots of sentimental value.
Kind of a cool story, and cool that one of our glassics got some attention. I wonder whose boat will be featured next??
Remember back a few years SEA magazine did a big article on Fiberglassics.
