I'm restoring (at least, painting)a 1961 Evinrude Starflite III 75 HP. I have the removable parts of the shaft housing above the lower unit off, but can't see how to remove the front part or the transom mounting elements. Do I have to suspend the motor from the hanger bar atop the flywheel to remover these pieces or is there another way? The engine is pretty heavy so I'll have to use a come-a-long to lift and suspend it if that's what I have to do. I'll appreciate any pointers.
