TOPIC: forever giving me issues.... issue #357

This 70hp 3 cyl is driving me nuts! Fuel pump died so I swapped it, fuel pump parts made their way to the carbs so I rebuilt them and replaced the lines. Now, it wont run when I use the metal tank. It will run perfect on the plastic tank I have but, I switch to the metal omc tank and it will run for 2 mins or less and then die. I thought it might be the line so I replaced that... nope. Thought it could be a vent so I uncapped it... nope. Fuel bulb is nice and full, plenty of fuel in the lines, just acts like it cant suck it up.

take the metal tank apart and see if the screen on pickup is cluged up. Plua while you have it apart make sure its clean inside.
