TOPIC: Adding a tell-tail to a 3 cyl looper

Apparently this 1977 75 hp 3 cyl looper was not equipped with a tell-tail.

Model: 75743S
Serial: J0001073

I would like to add a tell-tail.

Would the place I have circled in the attached picture be a good place to put it? Or where would be best?

Think that would work, but I think it better to put it as high as possible. So on mine I put it on the top of the head just forward of the thermostat cover. Don't have a picture but could take one later today. I like it up there so I can be sure the water is making it all the way to the top.

I know my 70hp looper has one but will have to check on my 77 75 stinger had one. Will get a pic of the 70 so you can see were it is.

Here is picture of mine. On right is pisser, on left is fittiing to water pressure gauge. If I were to do again, i would place a little higher so end of barb clears head bolt better.
