So in the ongoing effort to complete my necessary list of items for my helm, I finally found what I suspected existed but was rare...an NOS OMC fuel gauge that matches my OMC ammeter. I'd say 1960's vintage. My question is what sending unit will work with it? The gauge part number is 379377. I have seen on ebay several "OMC universal fuel sending level kits" (part #172144). Should these work together? I know there were a couple face styles of gauges over the years but they are all Stewart Warner 12v gauges licensed by OMC.
Any thoughts appreciated.
