TOPIC: Which tube is which?

I may have reversed the intake and exhaust cooling water tubes on my '61 Starflite III 75 hp. The only visual reference I have is the parts manual which appears to show the intake on the port side and the exhaust on the starboard side of the engine. Can someone verify that this is the correct location for the respective tubes? I'll appreciate the help big time!
