I have sorta inherited a 4hp (1982ish) 'get running' task from the brother-in-law... It supposedly ran...how long ago, who knows? I pulled the carb off, (it has a plastic bowl??), I cleaned it out put back together, I notice it has no fuel shutoff...installed new fuel hose. Added some gas mix, fuel runs out the throat of the carb. So it may need new needle & seat and or float. Is there supposed to be a fuel shutoff and if so where? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks...

vintagerunner Offline Expert Boarder Posts: 267 Karma: 18 Thank you received: 1	If it has a built in gas tank.. it may be in the choke knob.. on mine you turn the choke knob to open and close the fuel.. and pull it out for choke..
