One of the largest Antique and Classic Boat Shows of the year will be in Hessel, Michigan.
The Les Cheneaux Islands 2016 Antique Wooden Boat Show is a judged show, this year showcasing Century Boats. The annual event has been held each year since 1978 in Hessel, Michigan, located in Michigan’s beautiful Upper Peninsula.
The show averages 150 entries and is one of the largest shows featuring antique and classic wooden and non-wooden boats. Restored boats dating back to the early 1900’s are registered in this very unique show.
This major attraction is held in conjunction with the Festival of Arts. Around 70 of the Midwest’s finest artists participate in this juried show.
Admission to the show is $7 for adults. Children under 12 years of age are FREE. Showtime on Saturday is 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
