So sorry to hear about your father. You are in my thoughts and prayers. One thing about your Cutter. It is a Jet DeVille model, but it is a 1958 body style. In 1959 they went to a thicker deck height and a different windshield design. Yours has the earlier thin deck design of the 58's. It's possible that it may not have been sold until late 59 or 1960 and was then titled or sold as a 1960.
Really nice looking boat. It will be a wonderful way to honor your dad's memory.
