Jason Petroelje founded Skipper-Craft Boats after leaving Chris Craft in 1952. He operated his boat-building business from 1952 to 1960. More information about Skipper-Craft boats is available from Geoffrey D. Reynolds of Hope College who created a Museum Exhibit and a Classic Boating article about the company.
