Mobaco Marine Division

Mobaco, Inc.


This company built Flying Dutchman, Blue Jay, and Indian Scout sailboats. The Flying Dutchman was made on a molded mahogany plywood hull. The Blue Jay was designed by Sparkman & Stephens. The Blue Jay and Indian Scout were also available as kit boats. This company merged with Norge Boats, Inc., a sailboat importer, in 1958.
