Attwood Brass Works

Grand Rapids, Michigan

Attwood Brass Works offered a range of boat hardware and accessories. Interestingly, this company (still in business today) is located in the same city as Michigan Wheel which still makes one of the largest ranges of propellers for outboard and inboard boats.

In 1960, Attwood purchased Finson Products, Inc., maker of boat speedometers with plans to expand the Attwood products range. Cort C. Gravengood was director of sales for Attwood at this time.
