White Canoe Company, Inc.

156 S. Water St.

Old Town, Maine


Ed Soule bought the White Canoe Co. in 1978 at which time the company no longer made canoes. He renamed the business the White Boat and Canoe Co. and began making fiberglass canoes (March 9, 1979 Bangor Daily News). Old Town Canoe Co. bought out White in 1984 (September 11, 1990 Bangor Daily News).
