Mobaco Marine Division

Mobaco, Inc.

Southfield Ave.

Stamford, Connecticut

This company imported Flying Dutchman, Blue Jay, and Indian Scout small sailboats from Holland. Larger models included the Calypso, Zeeland, and Dutch Treat (see articles below). The Flying Dutchman was made on a molded mahogany plywood hull. The Blue Jay was designed by Sparkman & Stephens. The Blue Jay and Indian Scout were also available as kit boats. This company merged with Norge Boats, Inc., a sailboat importer, in 1958.
