Gulf Liner Boat Co.

Venice, Florida


Gulf Liner was owned by William A. Hamman (Al Hamman) and Alex Armo (Mar. 31, 1955 St. Petersburg Times). A fire on November 5, 1959 damaged the manufacturing plant and the company rebuilt by April 1960. Boats were made of marine plywood and some had fiberglass-covered bottoms. According to his obituary, Hamman owned from company from 1950 to 1960 (Jan. 24, 1966 St. Petersburg Times).
