History Thanks to Lee Wangstead
Ray Sindlinger, former boat designer for Glass Craft Boats, along with his brother Arch formed the Fort Dodge Boat Co., building and selling Cruise-About Boats. The company later collaborated with Span America Boats to fulfill orders for Montgomery Wards' Sea King Boats. Fort Dodge built the hulls and Span America built the decks for these boats.
