David D. Beach was a naval architect based in New Orleans, Louisiana. According to the 1957 article below, he began his career in about 1942 and designed over 400 boats. A number of his designs were available through the Douglas Fir Plywood Association.


In 1960, David Beach designed the Scott Boats for the McCulloch Corporation.
