What we do know about the Sapphire is that serial numbers started at 58100 for 1958, for 1957- 57300. Eventually this company also offered a catamaran model. Bee-Line offered a custom-fitted boat trailer to match the Sapphire model. It was made by Ventilaire Products of Muskegon, Michigan under the "[[Tote 'n Float]]" brand. The unique design of this trailer allowed the bunks to be lowered such that the boat could be launched or retrieved more easily in shallow water. A geared hand winch and galvanized steel cables were the means by which the bed was lowered or raised.

Very little is known about this fiberglass boat-builder. This company is best known for the Bee-Line Sapphire, a big-fin sports runabout of which only a few surviving boats have been found. If you have additional information on this company, please contact us so that we may update this page.

What we do know about the Sapphire is that serial numbers started at 58100 for 1958, for 1957- 57300. Eventually this company also offered a catamaran model. Bee-Line offered a custom-fitted boat trailer to match the Sapphire model. It was made by Ventilaire Products of Muskegon, Michigan under the "Tote 'n Float" brand. The unique design of this trailer allowed the bunks to be lowered such that the boat could be launched or retrieved more easily in shallow water.
