Unlike the [[Johnson]] division, the Evinrude Service Department recommended dealers to accumulate and collect the service bulletins in reference binders. Johnson service bulletin updates were incorporated into new editions of the Johnson service manual; therefore for the Evinrude dealer, a collection of service bulletins was a valuable and often-used reference.
